Without surprise, dark colours are the essential base in a perfect harmony with urban cold colours: night blue, oil and anthracite with warm and natural tones as brown root, green seaweed and vinegar bordeaux and also, intermediate tones such as bronze and lead.
Materials are more and more technologic, colours evolve and mix with each other, sparkles are accented, styles melt and the result most of the times is androgynous. The woman becomes extremely urban and feminine and acquires some manly looks.
Velvet and fur are back with a touch of light giving a warm but distinct air. The denim appears in brute, authentic or lightly softened by the washing but with refined finishing. However, wool will the raw-material in the spotlight, in all its variants: cashmere, alpaca, mohair, merino, and so on. All forms give volume, without adding weight, woven in “fluffy” way or in 3D, always with the purpose of offering comfort. The watchword for this season is volume, rigidity is undoubtedly banned.
The 80's return, already announced long time ago, seems to be now in the heart of all trends. Shoulders are wider in angular and precise shapes, as well as the waist that it´s now more enhanced. Structured fashion in sleeves, wrinkles and collars; fashion simplified in forms, "tube", "cocoon" or oversized/wide silhouettes where waist is enhanced with belts or knots.
The coats are renewed, now double fastened/crosses, in ¾ of the size, or square and short jackets. Dresses and tunics are still at their best, wide or sculptural, with wrinkles or draped effects enhancing several sleeve volumes.
Elegance, always present, transports woman to a structured silhouette, "A" lines combine with slim trousers, shapes are clean and details are elaborated. Personality is marked by combination and overlaying of several pieces.
